Eye cream should be used under the lower lids of the eyes instead of on the eyelids. The cream should be rubbed into the skin. This will help reduce the appearance of the oil on the upper lids. It will allow the focus to be removed.

Blotting Paper

If a person is out during the day and they notice that their eyelids are oily there is a temporary fix that they can take. The blotting paper will soak up the extra oil. This way a person can go on with their day and will not have to think about the oils on the eyelids.

Change Makeup

Some makeup products contain a lot of oil. There are oil-free brands out there including foundations and concealers that will help remove the extra oils. When possible look for water-based makeup. They are the best for the skin and the eyes. They will reduce the appearance of oil
